Drawing: Figure Proportion

This is a single-session class.
Cost: $45 ($35 for M members)

Improve the accuracy of your full-body figure drawings by focusing on proportion and measurement of the human body. In this session, you will practice visual measurement techniques, learn about foreshortening, and study a bit of skeletal anatomy, as well.

Megan Vossler

Megan Vossler

Teaching artist Megan Vossler received her BA from Brown University (Rhode Island), and her MFA from Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Her artwork has been exhibited nationwide and she is the recipient of several prestigious awards, including a Jerome Foundation Fellowship for Emerging Artists and a McKnight Artists Fellowship for Visual Artists. Her project, Ekphrastic 2.0: A Collaborative Storytelling Experiment, was one of three projects at Soo Visual Arts Center to receive a 2017 National Endowment for the Arts “Art Works” grant. Vossler teaches drawing at Macalester College in Saint Paul, MN.
