Listening Session:
Franconia Sculpture Park

Franconia Sculpture Park | 29836 St. Croix Trail

  • Is creative expression important to your community? If so, in what ways?
  • Does American art, as you see it in museums and galleries, reflect your life and that of your friends and neighbors?
  • What programs would you like to see, or see expanded, for the arts where you live?

The M is hosting a Listening Session at the organizations around the state to hear your experiences about how creativity fits into your day-to-day life. Through these conversations, you’re helping us make the changes necessary to ensure museum spaces like the M are inviting and open to all.

Chat with each other. We’ll feed you dinner. Our conversation will be facilitated by arts organizer and Public Functionary cofounder Tricia Heuring. No prior arts experience is needed to participate. Come if you’re arts-curious, or just interested in broadening the reach and impact of regional arts and culture. We want you to be part of the conversation!

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a Minnesota State Arts Board Arts Access grant, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
