Take a tour by vintage bus through the M’s storied past in St. Paul

Unlike some of its peer organizations in the cities, the M’s story is restless. It’s a story of movement across space and time. Though the names and places of the museum shifted through the years, that initial charter about the study, knowledge, and love of art has guided its various incarnations.

Over the course of one remarkable afternoon, writer Andy Sturdevant (longtime columnist for MinnPost’s “The Stroll”) and special guests from the M’s past will lead you on a tour through the M’s colorful history in St. Paul. You’ll travel in style, aboard a vintage bus from the Minnesota Transportation Museum, visiting former homes of the museum – the Griggs House on Summit Avenue, the Jemne Building, Landmark Center, and more. End your tour with a Patio Night on the Historic Pioneer Endicott’s verdant Green Roof and continue the day’s conversation over light appetizers, drinks, and live music performance.
