Hours & Directions

We welcome you to our home in the historic Pioneer Endicott in the heart of downtown St. Paul.  At Minnesota Museum of American Art (“the M,” for short), you can see engaging exhibitions of art by local and national artists, make something in the M’s Josephine Adele Ford Center for Creativity, enjoy creative family programs, and much more. Everyone is welcome, and admission is free.

Pro-tip: Want to dig deeper into the art on view, but don’t have a ton of time? Time your visit for a Flash Talk, bite-sized 10- to 15-minute chats about the exhibitions and new museum facility, offered twice each week by M volunteers. Flash Talks take place every Friday and Saturday at noon.


The Metro Green Line stops just a block from our front door (Central Station). Several bus lines also stop close by; visit metrotransit.org to plan your trip.
